Our client is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Country Manager, the Sales Manager will be responsible for leading sales efforts and driving revenue growth for the client's utility-scale battery storage solutions across the renewable development sector.

As the Sales Manager, you will work closely with the marketing and engineering teams to identify new business opportunities and develop custom solutions for clients.

You will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the targeted industries to comprehend their needs and promote our solutions effectively. You will also be responsible for managing the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiations and closing deals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or surpass revenue targets for the designated regions and industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the targeted industries to comprehend their needs and promote our solutions effectively.
- Identify new business opportunities and work with the marketing team to design marketing campaigns and materials that target these opportunities.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop tailored solutions for our clients and ensure that they meet their requirements and expectations.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiations and closing deals.
- Monitor market trends and competitors' activities to identify threats and opportunities and adjust the sales strategies accordingly.
- Provide periodic sales reports to the Country Manager and other stakeholders to communicate sales performance and progress towards revenue targets.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve their individual and team sales targets.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the renewable energy or backup power industries.
- A proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
