- The position provides high level administrative and executive support to the Safe at Home Coordination Unit, Safe Families Coordination Unit and Victims Support Service.The Department of Justice supports reasonable adjustment requests in any stage of the assessment process to remove barriers and facilitate full participation in all aspects of employment for applicants with disability. **Hours per fortnight**:
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.

**Duties**:

- Undertake comprehensive administrative and clerical functions to support the day to day operations across units that includes the provision of executive support and the management and prioritising of work flow.
- Assist adults and child victims of crime by:

- explaining court processes and terminology used by Court personal;
- describing physical orientation of court layouts;
- providing information about court systems;
- offering personal / emotional support throughout the Court process;
- discussing the impact of Magistrates/Judges decisions;
- providing a de-briefing services to victims following court appearances;
- referring to appropriate support services; and
- assisting with the practical details of physically getting to Court.
- accompanying adult and child victims to court and police interviews.
- Provide executive support that includes coordination, preparing and collating correspondence and documentation for a range of meetings and recording meeting outcomes and taking accurate minutes.
- Ensure the continuous tracking of clients and intelligence through various information management systems including searching for information, collating, importing data, inputting and maintaining registers and databases.
- Search all relevant agency databases to identify information which may add to a cumulative assessment of risk and harm to victims of family violence, children affected by family violence and perpetrators at risk of repeat family violence.
- Coordination of information exchange between stakeholders and provision of general administrative support to committees, internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop sound working relationships across a range of Government and non-Government services.
