- ** From $41 - $45 per hour + super (depending on experience)**

Our client is a NSW State Government body that operates within the Health Sector.

Reporting to the Principal Advisor of System Information and Analytics Branch, the
**Administrative Assistant** will provide high level administrative support and contribute towards the effective operations of the branch.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a wide range of administrative support functions including records management, purchasing and vendor management, document compilation and distribution, preparation for meetings and conferences, and data entry.

**Responsibilities may include**:

- Assisting with telephone enquiries and diary management, showing initiative in handling inquiries and redirecting to the relevant business unit or Officer.
- Taking a proactive approach to streamlining and improving processes.
- Managing file and information creation, following records management guidelines policy and procedures.
- Tracking purchase orders and invoicing to support the management of branch expenditure.
- Providing support on the management of the branch’s budget.
- Drafting and preparing routine correspondence and template documents accurately with attention to detail.
- Assisting the team with proof reading and commentary of reports where necessary.

**About You**
This will be a varied and busy role which requires someone with resilience and an ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, while maintaining a high level of organisation and customer service.

In addition, the successful applicant will possess the follow skills and experience:

- Relevant Qualification or substantial experience in Administrative Support positions, with a demonstrated capacity to work effectively at executive level and evidence of continued development.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with experience building strong relationships both with internal and external stakeholders, at all levels.
- A high level of competency with administration systems, including CRMs and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
- Ability to write clearly and succinctly, with excellent attention to detail, avoiding jargon.
- An interest in data analysis is desirable.
