About the Opportunity:

With the ongoing expansion of major projects in Northern Tasmania, this is a great chance for experienced Project Managers to take the lead in managing large-scale commercial construction projects. As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from inception to handover, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll manage a range of projects and people, delivering results that positively impact the growth of the region.

About the Role:

As a Construction Project Manager, your role will be dynamic and varied. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing cost, time, and scope control for construction projects
  • Effective people management, including coordinating contractors and staff
  • Ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are maintained
  • Delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction

You will be the go-to person for each project, ensuring that everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

The Ideal Applicant:

We are seeking experienced Project Managers who have a proven track record in managing multimillion-dollar commercial projects. You should be a natural leader with the ability to manage multiple sites and teams, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and quality.

Essential Qualifications/Certifications:

  • A Diploma in Building and Construction, Business Management, or Project Management
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction project management or a similar role
  • Proven ability to analyse, evaluate, and interpret plans, contracts, and tender documents
  • High attention to detail with excellent computer skills, including proficiency in specialised software and Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in the commercial construction industry is essential
