Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Unitedforcare Full time

About Us

United for Care is a fast-growing, values-led NDIS provider. We support people with disability to live independently and with dignity, across a range of housing and community-based settings. Our teams work hard, move fast, and care deeply about the impact we make every day.

About the Role

We're a fast-paced, innovative disability service provider looking for an experienced Specialist Support Coordinator / Senior Case Manager to manage complex NDIS participant plans, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and ensure funding is used effectively to deliver the best participant outcomes.

Why this role matters

You'll be the bridge between participants, families, external providers, and our internal teams, ensuring plans are optimised, funding is allocated correctly, and participant experience is consistently exceptional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex NDIS participant plans, analysing funding and ensuring it's allocated correctly
  • Work closely with Service Leaders, Regional Managers, finance, triage, and growth teams to flag and resolve issues early
  • Rebuild relationships with major plan managers and strengthen external stakeholder engagement
  • Provide monthly participant funding reports, review shift notes, and ensure documentation compliance
  • Partner with case managers (SIL/IHC) to support participants and prepare high-quality reports for external stakeholders
  • Handle challenging conversations with families, guardians, plan managers, and providers professionally
  • Regular on-site visits to participants — no hybrid work, this is a hands-on role

About You

  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • In-depth understanding of NDIS participant plans and funding structures
  • Leadership capability — influencing internally and externally
  • Finance literacy (plan analysis and funding allocation) — but not an accounting role
  • Proven ability to manage complex caseloads in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence dealing with difficult or high-pressure situations

Why Join Us

  • Full-time, on-site in the heart of Sydney CBD
  • Competitive salary + perks
  • Opportunity to shape a critical role in participant funding and stakeholder engagement
