NDIS Funding Specialist

About the Role

This is a highly skilled and challenging role that requires an experienced professional to manage complex NDIS participant plans, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and ensure funding is allocated effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for managing participant plans, analysing funding, and ensuring it's allocated correctly.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Service Leaders, Regional Managers, finance, triage, and growth teams to identify and resolve issues early.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plan managers and external partners, to drive positive outcomes.
  • Provide high-quality reports and insights to stakeholders, including monthly participant funding reports and shift notes.
  • Work closely with case managers to support participants and deliver exceptional results.
  • Manage challenging conversations with families, guardians, plan managers, and providers in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Regularly visit participants on-site to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Deep understanding of NDIS participant plans and funding structures.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills, with experience in driving business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis and budget management.
  • Ability to manage complex caseloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence in handling high-pressure situations and making informed decisions.
