People & Culture Associate (Talent Acquisition) – Job Share 2 Days – 14 hours per week (12 Month Contract – Thursday & Friday). Location: Tamworth NSW.
Responsibilities- Promote Council as an Employer of Choice and manage the end-to-end recruitment process through attraction, recruitment and onboarding of suitable talent
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies
- Support employer branding initiatives and ensure a great candidate experience
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, ensuring fair, merit-based recruitment practices align with the Local Government Act
- Regularly review the results of advertising campaigns and use metrics to report on outcomes
- Certificate IV in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or similar or equivalent relevant experience
- Driver Licence
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent time management
- Ability to manage competing priorities with efficiency and professionalism
- A team player mindset that is proactive and flexible

Salary range: Grade 12 – $41.08 - $44.46 per hour plus 12% superannuation for a 14 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and value to the organisation. Flexible working arrangements may be considered by mutual agreement and operational requirements.
