
Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced People & Culture Associate to join our team on a 12-month contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, promoting the council as an Employer of Choice, and supporting employer branding initiatives.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience in talent attraction, recruitment, and onboarding. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Promote the council as an Employer of Choice through various channels
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including attraction, recruitment, and onboarding of suitable candidates
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies
- Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the council's reputation as a desirable place to work
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure fair, merit-based processes align with relevant legislation
- Certificate IV in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or similar qualification
- Driver Licence
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent time management
- Ability to manage competing priorities with efficiency and professionalism
- Team player mindset, proactive, and flexible
- Salary range: Grade 12, $41.08 - $44.46 per hour plus 12% superannuation for a 14-hour work week
- Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements
