
People and Culture Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition professional to join our team. As a People & Culture Associate, you will be responsible for promoting the Council as an Employer of Choice and managing the end-to-end recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote the Council's employer brand to attract top talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Support initiatives to ensure a great candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and uphold fair, merit-based recruitment practices.
- Regularly review advertising campaign results and report on outcomes using metrics.
- A Certificate IV in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or similar qualification is required, or relevant work experience.
- A valid Driver Licence is mandatory.
- A Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent time management.
- The ability to manage competing priorities efficiently and professionally.
- A proactive and flexible team player mindset.
- This part-time role requires 14 hours per week (Thursday & Friday).
- It is an entry-level senior position within the Human Resources job function.
- The Government Administration industry is our focus.
- This is a 12-month contract, Job Share 2 Days.
