About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our busy and energetic Cross Border Payment Business Line based at our Melbourne office. Mandarin speaker is required in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional sales and business development services to clients and identify and develop new business with a focus on local commercial clients that have cross border payment and foreign exchange needs.
  • Identify and generate client pipelines of your own through local networks or by attending networking events and functions.
  • Build strong relationships with potential referral parties and coordinate events to generate valuable leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a long-standing and trusted relationship with existing and potential clients.
About You
  • Strong closing skills with at least 2 years of solid experience in a similar role.
  • Strong local network and referral resources are highly desirable.
  • Proven record of successfully achieving sales targets and exceeding KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to tailor the communication for the audience.
  • Strong client relationship management experience in financial services companies or banks.
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment would be a bonus.
  • Eligible to work in Australia with a valid working visa.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as "Assistant Business Development Manager".
