Overview

Join a well-established structural steel contractor based in Melbourne's CBD, delivering major commercial and industrial projects across Victoria. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Coordinator with steel experience to step into a key support role and play a pivotal part in coordinating project activities.

Responsibilities
  • Review construction/structural documentation and technical specifications.
  • Assist the Design Coordinator with design management requirements and shop drawing reviews.
  • Coordinate and manage all subcontractors onsite.
  • Review and issue RFIs and liaise with the Contract Administrator.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders (riggers, suppliers, operations team).
  • Ensure projects are tracked and managed in accordance with quality, OH&S and program requirements.
Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Solid background in warehousing projects.
  • Qualifications in Construction Management, Building and Construction, or Engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience in structural steel – mandatory.
  • Excellent people and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in Workbench (preferred, not essential).
