Your position will make a difference to our business and team by:
Managing various growth initiatives across all MBB service lines by successfully strategising, bidding, and winning new business opportunities. This includes bids, tenders, and unsolicited proposals. You will also contribute to our overall business development strategies including broader branding and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and develop a high-performing team by providing coaching, guidance, and professional development support that aligns with our values and drives a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Partner with service line leads and directors to align bid strategies with broader business objectives, ensuring proposals reflect our consulting expertise and value proposition.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of bid and tender submissions, including EOIs, capability statements, panel applications, and presentations - ensuring timely, high-quality delivery that wins work.
- Facilitate a structured bid process including bid/no-bid assessments, kick-off meetings, review milestones, and post-bid debriefs to embed continuous improvement and increase win rates.
- Create compelling written responses and visual content that clearly communicates our strengths, is tailored to client needs, and showcases our differentiation in a competitive market.
- Maintain and enhance a comprehensive bid content library - including CVs, project case studies, infographics, templates, and standard responses - to support efficient, high-impact submissions.
- Track, report, and improve bid performance, ensuring alignment with compliance standards, business development strategies, and emerging trends in the professional services sector.
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that align with business objectives and strengthen brand positioning in the professional services sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and produce high-quality marketing collateral - including case studies, capability statements, and branded content that supports business development efforts.
- Manage and curate digital content across key platforms such as the company website, email campaigns, and LinkedIn, ensuring messaging is consistent with brand voice and strategic priorities.
- Champion brand consistency across all external-facing materials, including bids, proposals, presentations, and client communications.
- Track, analyse, and report on marketing performance metrics, offering insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement and increase impact.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Solid experience in bid management.
- Experience in bid management in a client-side professional services consultancy environment and demonstrated ability to successfully manage major, complex bids infrastructure bids.
- Technical report and presentation writing skills.
- Work well within a fast-paced, highly focused and deadline driven environment.
- Excellent project management and time management skills with strong focus on attention to detail.
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with strong organisational skills - Confidence, maturity, and professionalism in negotiating with Directors and leaders to achieve high quality bid outcomes.
- Experience in developing branded marketing collateral and coordinating marketing initiatives.
- Advanced computer skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office and Adobe suite of programs.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Confident, self-motivated, and energetic with a persuasive manner and the ability to use your initiative.
