Are you ready to take your engineering and commercial acumen to the next level? Join Yokogawa,THe as a Senior Proposals Engineer based in our Sydney Head Office.

In this key role, you'll be responsible for managing and producing high-quality technical and commercial proposals that support our solutions across energy, mining, water, renewables, and more. You'll work closely with internal teams, partners, and clients to design winning proposals that reflect the best of Yokogawa and industry best practice.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the preparation of accurate, timely and compelling proposals using Yokogawa and third-party technologies.
  • Prepare cost estimates, gather third-party quotes, and collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Project Delivery teams.
  • Design and improve tools and systems to streamline the proposal development process.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to growing technical capability across the team.
  • Represent Yokogawa's values through customer focus, innovation, and collaboration.

What you'll bring:

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience in engineering, estimating or proposals—ideally within the industrial automation sector.
  • A solid understanding of control systems: DCS, PLC, SCADA, safety systems, field networks, MES, and IIoT/cloud solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—confident in presenting technical solutions persuasively.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive with a team-first mindset.
