The Role

We are seeking 3 highly motivated Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives to promote our consent product to healthcare professionals across an assigned territory in Australia. You will be responsible for building a strong business plan to deliver on our project plans to collect consent from HCPs, delivering a compelling selling message to ensure success, and maintaining a competitive mindset. A successful candidate will be results-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have a solid understanding of the Australian healthcare landscape.

What You'll Do
  • Sales Execution
  • Educate healthcare professionals on our product through in-person and virtual presentations
  • Achieve targets by effectively managing a territory, identifying opportunities for growth, and executing a strategic sales plan
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with key healthcare professionals to enhance brand loyalty
  • Business Planning
  • Analyze market data to identify key opportunities and challenges within your territory
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet targets, ensuring all activities are compliant with industry regulations and company policy
  • Compliance
  • Ensure all activities are compliant with the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and company policies
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and expense reports
  • Problem Solving & Optimization
  • Identify roadblocks and challenges in the consent collection process and be solutions focused to overcome these challenges
  • Develop and execute solutions to improve speed, efficiency, and success rate of HCP consent collection
Requirements
  • 3 reps will have 2+ years of experience as a medical sales representative, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • 5 reps will have 3+ years sales experience in FMCG
  • 2 reps will have little to no experience in sales but may have a business background or retail background
  • Strong communication, selling skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel for regional areas and team meetings
  • Proactive, performance-driven, competitive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • This is a field based role with regional travel required
  • Field sales role based in Australia. Candidates must be located in major cities: Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
