Role Description
This is a
full-time, on-site Sales Representative role
located in
Sydney, NSW
.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving sales of our natural stone products. The role involves promoting Gitani Stone's range to architects, designers, builders, and private clients -providing expert advice, coordinating the end-to-end sales process, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.
Daily tasks include reaching out to potential clients, presenting our materials and capabilities, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining strong, ongoing relationships across the design and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with
architects, designers, builders, and private clients
. - Present and promote Gitani Stone's products and services in the showroom, onsite, and during studio visits.
- Provide technical advice on stone types, finishes, and applications.
- Interpret project specifications to ensure suitability and compliance with Australian building codes and standards.
- Coordinate with estimators, factory, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Organise, maintain, and keep the sample library neat, current, and well-presented.
- Attend to sample requests from architects and designers, arranging sample preparation, packaging, and timely deliveries.
- Arrange and conduct client meetings and presentations.
- Support marketing initiatives, including CPD presentations and social media content when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in
Sales and Business Development
, ideally within the
building or design industry
. - Strong
customer relationship management
and
customer service
skills. - Excellent
communication, negotiation, and presentation
abilities. - Knowledge of
natural stone products
or high-end building materials is advantageous. - Ability to work both
independently and collaboratively
as part of a close-knit team. - Proven track record in
meeting and exceeding sales targets
. - Valid
driver's licence. - Bachelor's degree in
Business, Marketing, Architecture, Design
, or a related field preferred.
