Dutton Automotive is Australia's largest retailer and wholesaler of pre-owned luxury, exotic, prestige, family, and commercial vehicles. This opportunity sits within Dutton One, our premium retail network known for delivering high-performance vehicles and exceptional customer experiences. We're looking for a meticulous and motivated Acquisitions & Transfers Officer to support our growing operations.
Responsibilities- Ensure registration numbers and correct documentation accompany all invoices and records
- Confirm registration currency (or expiry not exceeding 3 months)
- Prepare and complete acquisition paperwork
- Conduct verification of registered ownership (VRO)
- Perform timely VRO checks and vehicle transfers (online and manual)
- Reconcile all transfer costs
- Maintain compliance with VicRoads regulations, identity checks, privacy, and audit requirements
- Maintain accurate and well-organised records
- Scan and attach invoices and contracts
- Enter creditor invoices and assist with general office tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage a high volume of work under tight deadlines
- Confident communicator by phone and email
- Understanding of privacy and compliance protocols
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Holds a current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Previous automotive experience and/or knowledge of VicRoads systems is desirable but not essential
- A current Police Check is required
