Overview

In this unique opportunity at our Darra site, you will be tasked with ensuring the daily flow of work through the department to meet distribution targets. You will work with our customers to ensure their orders are processed, received and dispatched in a timely manner. This role offers the chance to collaborate in a high-performing team to provide high-level support to drive distribution efficiency and service performance.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all picking and packing orders are processed and the delivery paperwork is correct for the couriers
  • Connect with transport carriers to ensure agreed delivery timeslots with customers are met
  • Review goods return processes and identify opportunities to streamline the process
  • Support and respond to customer enquiries in relation to returns and delivery availability
  • Take ownership of identifying process improvements for the warehouse management system and improve stock documentation
  • Contact customers to ensure deliveries can be made prior to delivery dates changing
  • Report on rush orders and costings and arrange quotes on transport costs for customers
Our Ideal Candidate May Have
  • Good interpersonal skills to build relationships and work in a team environment
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Experience with SAP would be advantageous
  • An understanding of dangerous goods regulations
  • A background in transportation would be advantageous
