Your OpportunityJoin a vital new program and make a real impact The Universal Aftercare Service provides rapid, practical psychosocial support to individuals experiencing suicidal crises or who have attempted suicide.
Positions are available in Nowra, Goulburn, or Bega. We seek passionate individuals to support communities that may not typically engage with the health system. The program delivers intensive, specialised support across the Shoalhaven and Goulburn regions, with a focus on engaging men, including Aboriginal men, through culturally safe and responsive services.
We are keen to talk with people interested in the following positions:- Peer Worker – support individuals experiencing suicidal crises or distress by providing understanding, empathy, and practical strategies, drawing on your own recovery journey.
- Care Coordinator – work within a recovery framework to support individuals in building independence, community integration, and wellbeing, collaborating with relevant services.

Requirements before starting work include a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks, and a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
