The key duties of the position include: As an APS6 employee within the Corporate Services Divisions at the Australian Digital Health Agency, you'll play a pivotal role in contributing to the future of digital health services.
There are two roles that we are seeking to fill.
Senior Management Accountant
The Divisional Finance Directorate has a leading role in the Finance Branch through partnering with the business to deliver strong business performance by providing monthly management reporting, monthly forecasts, annual budget and financial insight and analysis services.
The role works within a small team of high performing and customer focussed staff that are responsible for providing quality financial performance reporting linked to organisational outcomes, strategic direction, and programmes of work.
You will specifically be tasked with completing month end processes, including accruals, forecasting and management reporting and will contribute to internal budget processes.
In addition, you will assist the team to build, implement and establish processes including, but not limited to, initial budget build, budget revisions, forecasting updates and month end review processes.
APS6 Internal Budgets & Reporting Officer
The Internal Budgets and Reporting Officer role is positioned in the Budget and Systems team within the Finance Branch.
The Branch provides services that support the Agency deliver on its strategic priorities and to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Agency.
The Budget and Systems team provides sound advice and develops options and strategies with the Chief Finance Officer (CFO), the Deputy Chief Finance Officer (DCFO) and the Executive in support of Agency objectives based on high level decision making and judgement, including matters involving new policy proposals and development of associated Agency costings.
The Internal Budgets and Reporting Officer will work within a small team of high performing and outcomes focused staff that are responsible for providing quality advice to the CFO, DCFO and the Executive.
They will exercise sound decision making and judgement in the development of briefings, papers and presentations for senior executives, Committees and the Agency Board.
The Internal Budgets and Reporting Officer will manage the use of existing reporting tools and models, as well contribute to the development new report tools to support the Agency's complex operating environment.
Eligibility
Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.

Order of Merit: Applicants rated as suitable will be placed in a merit pool that may be used to fill similar ongoing or non-ongoing positions throughout the Agency for up to 18 months.
Salary: This role offers between $98,045 - $110,612 plus 15.4% superannuation depending on skills and experience.
