We are seeking an APS6 Project Officer, Strategy and Innovation to join a Federal Government agency, a national leader in improving the safety and quality of healthcare for all Australians. The Commission works with patients, clinicians, governments, and health organisations to create a safer, more effective health system.
Your new role
As a Project Officer in the Strategy and Innovation team, you'll help deliver meaningful projects that shape the future of healthcare. You'll work closely with senior staff to support planning, research, meetings, and documentation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting project planning, tracking progress, and reporting
- Researching and analysing data to inform decisions
- Assisting with procurement and contract management
- Providing secretariat support for committees and meetings
- Drafting briefings, reports, and correspondence
- Collaborating across teams to deliver project outcomes
- Liaising with stakeholders, including government, clinical groups, and consumers
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent writing and communication abilities
- Experience with procurement and contract management
- Ability to work independently and across teams
- Understanding of government processes
- Healthcare experience and tertiary qualifications are a bonus
- You must be an Australian Citizen.

- 12-month contract. Full-time hours Monday to Friday.
- $71.10 an hour plus super.
