Job Description About the role Telwater, a leading boat manufacturer in the marine industry, is seeking a dedicated and driven HSE Advisor to join our team.
As the HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees across all aspects of our factory operations.
This positionprovides an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to become a key part of our business.
This is a permanent full-time position, based onsite in Coomera.
Hours of work are 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Your responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and industry best practices.
Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks within the workplace and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement effective control measures.
Providing expert advice and guidance on WHS matters to management, supervisors, and employees, fostering a culture of proactive risk management.
Delivering training programs on various aspects of health, safety, and environmental awareness to enhance employee knowledge and promote safe work practices.
Investigating incidents, near misses, and workplace accidents to identify root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of health and safety initiatives through data analysis, trend identification, and participation in factory meetings.
Desired Skills and Experience What we are looking for: Experience in a Manufacturing environment, construction, mining or similar (preferred)Relevant qualifications in WHS, minimum Certificate IV level or above Incredibly strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive projects and collaborate with large teams Provide guidance and support to our staff on all HSE related matters Thorough understanding of WHS regulations and standards Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments and implement control measures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and deliver HSE training programs Experience in incident investigation and reporting Do you want to be valued and rewarded for your hard work?Employee of the Month awards and recognition.
