**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to join our team on a high-profile education project in Queensland. This project will also work across other projects in the region.

The successful candidate will assist in the safe and successful delivery of site works in line with our framework for quality and efficiency.

They will review documents and plans that govern the project delivery, provide input into the HSE and quality plans, and ensure these are in line with project, business, and legislative requirements.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an HSE Advisor or similar role within the commercial construction space and hold a Cert IV WHS qualification.

They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cert IV WHS – Minimum
  • Management system software experience e.g. Hammertech
  • Proven experience as an HSE Advisor or similar role within the commercial construction space
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
