We are seeking a dedicated HSE Risk Management Specialist to join our team on a high-profile Education Project based on the Gold Coast.
Key Responsibilities:- Document Review and Input: The successful candidate will review project documents and plans, providing input into HSE and quality plans in line with business and legislative requirements.
- Resource Allocation and Competency: They will coordinate with the Project Manager and Site Manager to ensure adequate resource allocation and competency for successful delivery of site works.
- Project Plan Communication: Communicate project plan requirements to the wider team, providing proactive support in implementing the plans.
- HSE and Quality Inspections: Conduct regular HSE and quality inspections, reporting, documenting, and identifying necessary actions.
- A Cert IV WHS qualification is minimum required.
- Management system software experience (e.g. Hammertech) is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an HSE Advisor or similar role within commercial construction space.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices is essential.
