About the Role


We are seeking a full-time permanent Enterprise Delivery Lead (EDL) based in Blackburn to join our Strategy and Enterprise Projects (SEP) team.

In SEP we plan, deliver and govern a wide range of organisational change projects that range from working with our Mission Department to enhance services, to our Fundraising team to build new ways of managing partners, to technical IT projects to deliver new Wide Area Networks.


SEP's delivery arm is looking to streamline its structure to provide a business partnering delivery model that will work alongside teams within the Salvos to build maturity.

Ensuring Enterprise Projects are planned and delivered successfully.

The EDL role will have a number of direct reports, depending on the number of projects in the stream at the time.


We are currently recruiting for an EDL to focus on projects that support the delivery of significant change in our Service Delivery and Mission Support functions.


Key Responsibilities:
You will be successful in this role if you can:

  • Establish and maintain multi-level trust-based relationships with peers and managers across the Salvos. Support our teams with decision-making that will support delivery of change.
  • Lead the implementation of a Portfolio of Projects by working with SEP functional Leads to allocate resourcing, enhance capability, plan, measure, monitor, report and govern.
  • Provide timely analysis on performance and resourcing issues, and on immediate and future opportunities for reprioritization of financial and human resources to high and/or strategic priorities.
  • Provide leadership in the development of strategies to build the capability of Project managers and teams.
  • Create a professional and high performing culture that encourages commitment, ethical behaviour, skills development, professional growth and continuous improvement.
About You

Key Capabilities:

  • Desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or Project Management
  • Desirable
  • Professional project management qualifications / certification i.e. PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile, Lean Sigma
  • Proven track record in leading a team of project professionals, and managing resource requirements across multiple and complex projects

Requirements of the role:

  • A national police record check is required
  • Compulsory Code of Conduct, WHS and Bullying and Harassment training modules are completed and up to date
