Role Purpose


The purpose of this role is to deliver exceptional claims service and leadership under the Icare NSW workers compensation scheme.

Establish a comprehensive service provider framework for procuring, growing, retaining, and managing the panel of service providers for GB & Icare.

The role also involves negotiating and establishing contractual partnerships with service providers for mutual and sustainable benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure independent contractors understand terms of the agreement, meet the required license/certification/insurance requirements, and consistently comply with requirements supporting GBs service design objectives.
  • Negotiate competitive rates between the GB and the Service Provider.
  • Work with the Service Provider to identify technical capabilities of the company number and skill level
  • Conduct reviews based on KPI's and quality control audits and address service/performance issues identified.
  • To deliver high quality customer service towards all parties involved in the services
  • Maintaining timeframes as outlined in the Service Framework.

Experience & Skills

Essential

  • Relevant experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Supply chain knowledge, specific with trade sourcing expertise
  • Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen
  • Be selfdirected and motivated.

Desirable

  • Exposure to insurance or workers compensation claims organisation
