Seniors Rights Service provides support and resourcing to mainly vulnerable and disadvantaged older Australians and their carers or family members to know and assert their rights.
Seniors Rights Service is the leading provider of free legal services, aged care advocacy, rights, education and information to seniors in NSW.

In this newly created role, reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide strategic and operational support to the senior leadership team and employees on the people and culture area.
The People and Culture Manager manages the day-to-day human resource function and provides advice and support on all human resource and employee related matters.
This role will actively promote a culture of empowerment and accountability where all contributions are valued, whilst ensuring Seniors Rights Service's systems, processes and policies are consistent with their culture and support strategic objectives.
With a focus on continuous improvement, you will:
- Support the senior leadership team and leaders to ensure all statutory and operating requirements are met and maintained across the organisation
- Develop and implement strategies, systems and people programs to build capability
- Build a culture of teamwork consistent with the organisation's vision and mission
- Design and execute overarching human resource management strategies, policies and plans to meet the organisation's current and future needs
- Deliver the financial and nonfinancial results of the people and culture department
With demonstrated experience in day-to-day HR functions including the work health and safety function, you will be accomplished in managing and reducing organisational risk with experience of working within SCHADS award framework.
The ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders is crucial to this role as is experience in developing and managing a human resources budget with a strong focus on cost control and productivity results.
Experience in leading or contributing to the development of inclusion and diversity frameworks (including Reconciliation Action Plans) would be desirable.
