A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced and talented HR Adviser to join the People and Culture Branch at the Department of Government Services.

The People and Culture Branch provides HR advice and services to the Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Department of Government Services and their portfolio agencies, to create a high performing workplace that puts people first.

As the HR Adviser, Projects and Performance, you will work within the Organisational Development team and be responsible for taking the lead on a project that co-ordinates the planning and implementation of the Department's EBA obligations to manage the Performance Development Plan process.

You will support the provision of specialist strategic advice in relation to all aspects of Organisational Development and contribute to the integration of ongoing cultural improvements in day-to-day work of the department.

Building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders will be an essential part of this role.
About you

  • Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of organisational development programs, initiatives.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Sound conceptual and analytical skills with a strong initiative and 'can do' approach to identifying issues and developing appropriate solutions.
  • Strong project management, critical analysis and reporting skills including the use of Microsoft products.
  • High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and effective stakeholder management skills
