Ventia's Court Security and Custodial Services contract have a rare opportunity to join their operational management team as a
Deputy Care and Security Manager.

This role will be based at the new Armadale Courthouse and Police Precinct where you will supervise and coordinate staff in the manned court and custody areas within the court to perform to the highest standard of governance, quality and compliance through regular engagement with staff and all day-to-day operations.


Whilst maintaining regular contact with the Court Coordinator and all Control functions that manage operations, you will prepare rosters to appropriately allocate duties and staff to ensure that all courts within the cluster are effectively manned and monthly audit compliance requirements are met.

In addition, you are responsible for the day-to-day performance of the Care & Custody Officers under your control to ensure all interactions with Persons in Custody (PIC) are always carried out in a caring and humane manner.

  • Certificate III in Corrective Practice (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Competent in managing and coordinating PIC/Courthouse operations
  • Ability to interact effectively with staff, PIC's and Client representatives
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and customer focused quality service delivery
  • Applicants must be flexible (working hours) and have a positive outlook
  • Senior First Aid & CPR or equivalent
  • Hold a Manual Driving Licence (MR or above highly desirable)
