Role Overview:
As the Customer Banking Specialist in our Townsville Branch, your responsibilities include:

  • Having detailed conversations with customers to support their banking needs such as Home Loans, Business Banking & Financial Advice
  • Assisting customers with inquiries, account maintenance, and credit product applications
  • Conducting Financial Health Checks to assess customers' financial requirements
  • Offering customer solutions through in-branch technology and digital banking options
  • Providing effective problem-solving while adhering to processes and procedures

We're looking for individuals who have:

  • Demonstrated outstanding Customer Service skills, ideally in Financial Services, Retail, or Hospitality
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
  • The capacity to identify customer needs, find solutions, act with honesty, and prioritize customer satisfaction
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, offering comprehensive solutions to customers
  • A genuine interest in developing a career with CommBank and enhancing customers' financial wellbeing
