The rolereports to the Singapore based, Head of HR - EAPAC (East Asia & the Pacific) and is the HR business partner to the Managing Director - Au Pac based in Sydney.

The region encompasses over 45 hotels across Australasia, New Zealand and the Pacific region with an incredible growth agenda This role provides strategic and operational HR functionally expertise and leadership for Au Pac Performance Leadership team and Hotel HR Operations and is responsible for the delivery of the Au Pac People Strategy and aligned HR plans leveraging the IHG HR enterprise and strategy.

It will also play a key role in continuing to lead and build a contemporary HR service delivery offer and an incredible employee experience within the changing and evolving world of work in IHG hotels.

What we need from you Demonstrated HR leadership balancing operational out-performance and maintaining a strong focus on people and culture Demonstrated leadership within matrix structures and partnerships with global centres of excellence.

An ability to engage, inspire and influence both directly and indirectly.

At least 8 years of progressive experience in HR Generalist and/or Talent COE, at least 3 years at senior management levels A strength as a coach and mentor to leadership teams and HR groups Demonstrated leadership experience in Organisational Design and Change Management A passion, commitment and experience in creating Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive cultures Expertise in Industrial Relations and Employee Relations matters Expertise in at least one specialist area of HR - Talent Management, Learning, Reward or Talent Acquisition Experience in leading complex projects within business matrix environments Growth mindset and focus on continual quality improvement.
