Executive Director of Human Resources

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of People and Culture to join their team. As a senior executive leader, you will play a critical role in establishing, leading, and coordinating a broad range of human resources functions to enable the Commission to achieve its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and lead a range of human resources functions, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, Work Health and Safety, and workplace relations.
- Deliver core enabling functions to support the effective and efficient provision of strategic people management and support across the employee lifecycle.
- Contribute to broader organisational and strategic management, providing expert HR advice and playing a key role in establishing a supportive culture and a positive working environment.
- Develop and maintain essential policies, processes, and practices to support the Commission's strategic objectives.
- A detailed understanding of best practice HR management and a strong grasp of its legislative basis.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and implement a broad range of contemporary people management programs, policies, and operational practices.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively and to understand and bring clarity to the communication of complex information.
- The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at senior levels, including the ability to provide high-quality advice to senior management.
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to monitor progress, manage resources effectively, and deliver timely, high-quality outcomes.
