Full time, Fixed term position to July 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity be part of the Defence Trailblazer for Concept to Sovereign Capability - a collaborative partnership between the University of Adelaide and UNSW.


Reporting to the WIL Program Manager remotely and Manager, Internships at UoA - the WIL Program Coordinator will work in an inclusive team and will be an individual who is a self-starter, a problem solver with a can-do attitude who has experience pivoting in a changing environment.

Building and maintaining relationships in person and virtually will come naturally as will collaborating and engaging with industry partners, stakeholders and staff across UoA and UNSW.


To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability and experience in building and managing stakeholder relationships especially with industry stakeholders, to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Proven high level knowledge and experience in coordinating WIL programs including partner engagement and academic courses and programs and the ability to grow engagement and participation targets.
  • Proven commitment to collaborative and consultative styles of working and demonstrated interpersonal skills ability to work both independently and cooperatively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated highlevel organisational and administrative skills, with acute record keeping and prior experience in using a CRM platform to manage tasks, communication and workload allocations.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.

Qualifications:

  • A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.

Additional Considerations:

  • This position may require a valid Working with Children Check.
  • This role may include adhoc interstate travel.
