We are looking for a very strong Front Office Duty Manager who possesses a vibrant switched on personality to work in an upmarket boutique hotel.

This position will report directly to the General Manager, the Front Office Duty Manager brings new and exciting ideas to create exceptional experiences for the hotel's guests.

Applicants must have prior experience as a Front Office Duty Manager and their full Australian Drivers License. Experience in OPERA ( hospitality software program ) a must.

Some duties include:

  • Anticipating and attending to guest's needs during peak service periods.
  • Lead & support a service focused team, overseeing all aspects of the day to day operation.
  • Develop a strong team by implementing effective inductions, ongoing training, delegation and feedback.
  • Communicate effectively, with the ability to maintain policies, procedures, and be the ultimate liaison and ambassador for the hotel.
  • Stay on top of systems and procedures, including cash handling, payments and the PMS reservation system.
  • Assisting with FIT and group reservations,
  • Effectively manage guest feedback and handle complaints.
  • This role will have a huge focus on staff, guest and stakeholder management and planning.
  • Having a hands on approach, this position may include working a range of shifts on the front desk including AM, PM and Night Shifts.
