About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating wedding and leisure bookings, while driving sales for future reservations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Wedding and Event Management: Manage weddings and social events to ensure the hotel's success in the wedding market.
  2. Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process, from inquiries to site inspections, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  3. Event Coordination: Coordinate weddings and leisure events year-round, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.
  4. Sales Target Achievement: Strive to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, contributing to the hotel's revenue growth.
  5. Service Quality: Maintain a high standard of service and product quality for all clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

  7. Availability: Be available to work Tuesday to Saturday, with flexibility for occasional evenings when needed.
  8. Industry Staying Current: Stay current with wedding trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the overall experience.
  9. Work Eligibility: Possess the legal right to work in Australia, as no sponsorships will be offered.
