Responsibilities:

  • Familiarise yourself with the organisation's constitution and objectives.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance program.
  • Familiar with external conduct requirements.
  • Monitor, assess and prepare regular audits and reviews to evaluate compliance.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliancerelated matters, where needed.
  • Collaborate with different departments of the organisation
  • Assist with revising policies and procedures and other documents to improve.
  • Investigate and respond to compliancerelated issues.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory authorities as necessary.
  • Advise management on compliancerelated matters and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Draft required or relevant documents.
  • Other relevant roles.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience working in a compliance role, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements applicable to nonprofit organisations.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Relevant certifications (eg: Compliance and Auditing or Regulatory Compliance Manager) are a plus.

Salary:
From $65,000.00 per year
