The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented HP National Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be offered on a permanent full-time basis in our Brisbane office with hybrid work available.


In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth by identifying potential clients or target markets that align with Data#3's offerings.

Your primary objective will be to expand our customer base, contribute to the overall success of Data#3, and effectively acquire and onboard new customers.


In this role you will:

  • Conduct thorough market research to assess market trends, competition, and customer needs for potential acquisition targets.
  • Develop detailed opportunity plans and strategies for engaging with customers and progressing through the sales process.
  • Generate potential sales opportunities through various channels and assess their fit with company objectives.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential acquisition targets, collaborate with internal teams and advisors, and lead negotiations.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop integration plans for successful onboarding of acquired businesses.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Track the performance of acquired businesses and report regularly on progress to senior management.
  • Provide support and guidance during the postacquisition phase and address operational challenges.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.

  • Strong sales and marketing background with a proven track record of lead generation, prospecting, and successful acquisitions.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing sales strategies and executing effective marketing campaigns.
  • Proficient in analyzing market trends, financial data, and potential acquisition targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in sales and marketing techniques with a strategic mindset aligned with company goals.
  • Resultsdriven with expertise in financial analysis and industry knowledge.
  • Effective project management and leadership skills for stakeholder management.
  • Capable of aligning business acquisitions with overall company strategy.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to drive innovation and identify market opportunities.
  • Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to support acquisition objectives.
  • Strong focus on achieving results and meeting acquisition targets through goal setting and action plans.
