As the Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a key role in providing operational, tactical, and specialist advice to the People and Culture office on a diverse range of ER issues, as well as supporting with enterprise bargaining and other projects.
Reporting to the Senior Employee Relations Consultant, you will provide support and advice on a wide variety of people activities including industrial issues, disputes, and case management; and assist in maintaining positive employee relations, best practice, and legislative compliance.
- Degree qualified (or working towards qualification) in Employee Relations, Human Resources, Law, or related field.
- Prior experience working with Employee Relations, including experience working on ER cases and workplace investigations.
- The ability to understand and interpret legislation including Case Law, Enterprise Agreements, and other legislation.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of industrial law and/ or the higher education sector will be highly regarded.
