Job Title: Employee Relations Lead

At Programmed, we are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Employee Relations team, including direct supervision of ER Advisors and HR support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on complex IR matters, including Enterprise Bargaining and interpretation of industrial instruments.
  • Interact with regulatory bodies such as the Fair Work Ombudsman and Fair Work Commission.
  • Draft strategic reports on IR issues with significant business implications.
  • Deliver consultancy and advisory services to managers and executives on change management, performance management, and workplace relations.
  • Review and improve HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with legislation and departmental needs.
  • Lead HR projects, including research and analysis on various employee relations matters.
  • Uphold child safeguarding and occupational health and safety standards within the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in IR/ER, particularly in complex employee relations issues and team leadership.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with Enterprise Bargaining processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS applications.
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license, recent National Police Clearance, and up-to-date vaccinations (or approved exemptions).
