We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Customer and Payment Consultant to join a highly engaged, collaborative and professional Operations department.

The Customer and Payment Consultant will report to the Customer and Payment Team Leader.


The Customer and Payment Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that we provide a high level of quality service and assistance to our customers and staff.

This role must also ensure that this level of service and assistance applies consistently to all of the functions performed by the Customer and Payments department, and in addition, maintain a strong relationship to our third party suppliers to facilitate the above.

What you will be doing

  • Comply with Bank Australia operating policies and procedures at all times
  • Perform operational tasks to ensure customer needs are met in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain reports to ensure regulatory or business requirements
  • Actively review, develop and recommend changes to processes and procedures
  • Ensure that tasks are completed within established SLA timeframes
  • Ensure assigned training is up to date at all times
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Operations products and services in regard to delivery and the identification and development of new systems, processes and procedures
  • Perform other duties consistent with the classification of the position, as directed by Bank Australia management
