About the role

Provide effective and timely injury prevention and management to injured team members in support of the proactive management of injuries across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Effectively facilitate the timely and sustainable return to work of injured team members, ensuring lost time, claim durations and claim costs are minimized. Liaise with injured team members and leaders to provide immediate support and co-ordination of return to work strategies. This includes the provision of onsite support to teams, across JB Hi-Fi Group brands. Provision of practical training and coaching to leaders in support of improved knowledge and awareness of their Injury Management and Workers Compensation responsibilities and accountabilities. Ability to work closely with claims team to formulate proactive strategies on claims. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders. Provide required data and statistics for monthly safety reporting and claims reviews. Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure claims management strategies are implemented, the timely delivery of exceptional customer service and cost-effective outcomes. Work collaboratively with the Return to Work Coordinator to ensure Workers Compensation claims documentation and records are managed in line with each state's legislative requirements. Ability to deliver face to face training (physical and mental health initiatives), as required. Manage and implement all self insurance requirements to ensure compliance to maintain license. Attendance of medical appointments and consultations as required . Onsite work assessments to assist to facilitate successful return to work.

About you:

Tertiary qualifications in relevant Allied Health Profession. Relevant Professional Association membership and/or registration. 2+ years rehabilitation experience (clinical and non-clinical) managing rehabilitation and return to work outcomes preferably in the Occupational Rehabilitation Industry. Understanding of NSW Self Insurance requirements and Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation legislation and regulations desirable. Proficient computer skills. Driver's license required.
