We are seeking a highly skilled Injury Management Specialist to join our team at Macquarie. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage various employee insurance policies, including Workers Compensation, Salary Continuance, and Life Insurance, with a regulatory change lens and drive improvements based on insights identified.
- Provide analysis, specialist knowledge, and advice on current trends, research, and evidence to evolve internal WHS frameworks and procedures, including those pertaining to psychosocial risk.
- Manage reporting activities, including reviewing, analysing, and developing both internal and external compliance and regulatory reports.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with 6+ years of technical experience in workers' compensation insurance claims management or a technical advisor role. You should have tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health Profession, WHS, or Insurance Management, and a strong understanding of workers' compensation or life insurance laws and compliance obligations.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in utilising data analytics to forecast business requirements based on emerging health, people risk, claims experience, and industry trends.
- Experience in identifying trends, patterns, and insights from data analytics to inform strategic planning, business memos, and regular board and business-related reports.
