Set your sights on an enticing opportunity to become an Incident Handler within the Cyber Security team at the head office in Chatswood Sydney of PepsiCo. This role, reporting to the local Incident Response Senior Manager, is part of the PepsiCo Global Incident Response group, operating in the USA and Europe as well.

The main duties include identifying, responding, and mitigating complex threats to PepsiCo networks, conducting incident response activities, and maintaining seamless communication with stakeholders. The role calls for someone with prior experience in IT infrastructure or operational security, capable of collaborating effectively across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recognize and address sophisticated threats to PepsiCo networks
  • Perform incident response activities, including advanced investigations to probe potential intrusions
  • Minimize production downtime and risk exposure by swiftly resolving incidents
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management throughout incident, problem, and change cycles
  • Coordinate response efforts across multiple business units and post-incident analysis
  • Take a proactive approach to monitoring client environments using specialized security applications
  • Offer timely and accurate information to Information Security leadership through written and verbal means
  • Develop expertise and update incident response playbooks to enhance response effectiveness
  • Propose innovative ideas and participate actively in the growth of the Incident Response function
  • Collaborate with CFC teams for project implementation and security enhancements
  • Support the creation of detailed technical reports and presentations on digital investigations
  • Ensure team success by aligning organizational, functional, and team objectives

Requirements, Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of information security experience, particularly in an incident role
  • Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Preferred technical security certifications (GIAC, EC-Council, CompTIA, etc.)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze security incidents and requests
  • Proficiency in utilizing various security tools and ticketing systems
  • Strong communication skills and customer-centric approach
  • Team-oriented mindset with effective stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive attitude towards security posture enhancement and business impact
  • Capability to thrive under pressure while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong decision-making skills with a focus on cost-benefit analysis
