In the role of Assessments Support Officer in the Taxi Subsidy Scheme (TSS) team you will contribute to the administration of the Taxi Subsidy Scheme.
You will provide professional customer service by engaging with customers and internal and external stakeholders to respond to enquiries relating efficiently and effectively to the TSS membership and its services.
You will also contribute to operational and administrative activities by processing TSS memberships and taxi subsidy claims to ensure the continuity of public transport service in line with the social and economic objectives of Government.
You will deliver this service within legislative, policy and timeframe driven framework.Accountabilities include:
- Provide articulate and professional customerfocused verbal and written advice to customers, many of whom have a severe or chronic disability, and stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain high quality output by prioritising and balancing competing workloads measured against KPI's to ensure timely processing of workloads.
- Deliver tasks and activities individually and as a team member and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement of team functionality and business processes governing the Taxi Subsidy Scheme.
- Efficiently complete administrative tasks, such as opening and scanning mail, preparing and sending correspondence to support delivery of the Taxi Subsidy Scheme.
- Maintain a working knowledge of guidelines, legislation, and public transport issues which may impact the Taxi Subsidy Scheme.
- Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.
