About the role

  • Provide highly proficient comprehensive administrative and office management services to the Ethical Standards Unit;
  • Undertake comprehensive and accurate research;
  • Undertake assessments of corrupt conduct matters; and
  • Manage public interest disclosures within Metro North.

  • Demonstrated experience in assessment of corrupt conduct matters and public interest disclosures
  • Demonstrated experience in purchasing and invoicing in electronic platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, utilise discretion and deal with matters in the absence of decision makers to establish work priories, meet deadlines, proactively identify and resolve issues and negotiate effective outcomes in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proven competency in an administrative and managerial support role to senior officers who operate across multiple multidisciplinary facilities

This includes proven:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise tact, discretion and sound judgement in the absence of decision makers when liaising with senior staff, clients and members of the public
  • High level organisational skills and the proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
  • Ability to undertake a wide range of projects and research
