The Role

The Regional Director of Human Resources (RDHR) reports to the Regional Managing Director and is responsible for leading the delivery of efficient Human Resource operations in line with the global vision, strategy, and values of the organization.

The RDHR will lead a team in developing, implementing, and monitoring standards and compliance in all HR areas for the region.


Other duties include:
Act as a point of escalation for, and take carriage of, high-level employee relations, performance management or grievance matters
Provide strategic and value-adding reporting, data analysis and trend reporting
Advise on organizational change and restructure processes
Ensure HRIS system is used effectively
Execute a Regional Recruitment Strategy
Line manage a remote team of 5-6 direct reports

About you

The ideal candidate will have:
Strong human resources management background
Experience working for a global organization and/or in the education sector
Extensive experience in a senior HR capacity
Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
Proven experience in transitioning strategic initiatives into day-to-day operations
Experience in interpreting and applying knowledge of employment related laws and agreements
Comfortable with some regional travel throughout the year
