Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate administrator who has thorough and meticulous attention to detail to provide support with the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle at this independent school located in Sydney.


The Human Resources Officer will provide human resources, recruitment and administrative services and support to the Director of Human Resources.


This diverse, generalist role has specific responsibilities for ensuring all HR administration, records, policies and procedures are up to date and assisting with recruitment, induction, training, and Return to Work Coordination.


The Role:

  • Draft and post job adverts online, and brief approved recruitment agencies on roles
  • Liaise with hiring managers to coordinate interviews and reference checks
  • Prepare employment contracts and all relevant documents relating to an offer of employment including advice and support to managers on the hiring process
  • Manage the exit process for employees including exit surveys, exit interviews, and leaver letters
  • Maintain the onboarding and recruitment CRM system
  • Maintain records for employee CPD and visa / Working with Children Check requirements
  • Previous experience working as an Administrator within a busy school environment
  • An organised, systemic approach to work with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work accurately at speed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clearly, concisely and to a high standard
  • Strong IT skills and confident with CRM systems
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritise own workload
  • A history of high integrity including sound judgement and ethical professional conduct
