We are currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Human Resource professionals for an exciting and diverse opportunity within a business that's experiencing year-on growth.

Agency background highly sought after along with extensive and current knowledge across HR, IR and ER.


Based in their Sydney CBD office, with hybrid flexibility on offer, this role works across the state in both regional and metro locations, as the trusted source of information for employees, management and contracting staff.

The ideal profile for this vital position would be empathetic, focused on continuous improvement and commercially mindful.

The Opportunity


Reporting to the Operations director, you will partner with key stakeholders and managers to deliver generalist HR advice, support and services.

You will be a trusted source of information to both employees and managers.

You will be responsible for assisting in the management of people across a wide range of areas to ensure wellbeing and foster effective working relations.


About the role
Other key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the recruitment, onboarding and training of new staff
  • Manage employment relations issues such as complaints, conflicts, grievances, and misconduct
  • Advising on Industrial relations and legal issues in conjunction with Executive Management
  • Advising on award and EBA interpretation
  • Developing, reviewing and updating HR plans, processes, policies and initiatives.

About you:

You will develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels and be empathetic whilst ensuring business needs are met.

Other essential requirements to be successful include:

  • Degree qualified in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting awards and EBAs
  • Demonstrated ability to advise staff and people managers on a range of complex matters to empower them to act independently
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, able to prioritise competing demands
