Job Opportunity: Customer Service Officer in Sydney

Rex, the largest independent regional and domestic airline in Australia, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their team as a Part-Time Customer Service Officer in Sydney.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide check-in services for Rex flights at Sydney Airport.
  • Handle reservation and ticket sales.
  • Assist with pre and post flight duties.
  • Manage flight editing and sales reporting.
  • Support aircraft receipt and dispatch.
  • Operate computer systems like SABRE and Departure Control System.
  • Attend to Rex Lounge responsibilities.
  • Help customers with special needs and lost baggage inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Airport Manager.
Requirements:
  • Prior airline customer service experience is essential.
  • Experience with GDS is required.
  • Capability to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card).
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to work well in a team and prioritize on-time performance.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Professional image and presentation.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Aptitude for unsupervised work.
