Our client is a dynamic national company servicing the commercial, aged care and marine sectors, with a strong focus on the mining industry.

This role's responsibility are to plan, direct, control, co-ordinate the daily operational activities of the branch to achieve consistent branch targets.

This will include all activities from quoting to delivery, and management of staff.

The role:

  • Directly manage and coordinate all Technicians under the direction of the NSW scheduler
  • Oversee the daytoday work of the field service personnel who perform on site routine services including installations, repairs and maintenance and manage performance, customer satisfaction and compliance
  • Forward planning to ensure the team is utilised efficiently through monitoring defects, quotes, follow up processes and reviewing scheduled work calendar
  • Attend sites to complete audits as required
  • Support Technicians with any urgent issues on sites
  • Quoting/estimating
  • Maintain and monitor strong customer service
  • Interact directly with highprofile clients
  • Develop and maintain the current team you will be managing and identify training needs
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Evaluate and improve operational performance
  • Conduct weekly toolbox meetings
  • Drive initiatives in the branch and organisation that contribute to longterm operational excellence
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance within standards, WHS Policy, procedures and SWMS
  • Carry out regular service, breakdown and upgrade works across all areas of the business

What we're looking for:

  • Electrical, trade or fire services industry background (essential)
  • Previous management or supervisory experience
  • Fire Safety Assessor license
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage a team whilst meeting KPI's and deadlines
  • Strong IT skills across Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and systems such as SimPRO
  • Strong focus on quality and safety
  • Proficient with administration, business process and function
  • Quoting exposure
  • Ability to build customer relationships and provide a high standard of customer service
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication
