About the Roles

Based in Heatherbrae (NSW), as the Services Supervisor, you'll be at the helm of day-to-day operations, overseeing technical teams dedicated to servicing and maintaining essential portable fire equipment, fire detection and suppression systems, and related equipment within the commercial sector.

Your responsibilities will include preparing comprehensive plans, conducting site inspections, liaising with stakeholders, managing procurement, and ensuring strict compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the Commercial Services team, providing the guidance, support, and motivation needed to foster a cohesive and high-performing work environment.
  • Drive efficiency improvements across all facets of the service team, leveraging your expertise to streamline processes and maximise productivity.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with clients and customers, ensuring they are kept informed of asset status, work scopes, and promptly addressing any concerns or changes.
  • Oversee and manage compliance with Australian Fire Safety Standards (AFSS) requirements for clients, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate closely with schedulers to effectively allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, optimising efficiency and productivity.
Experience and Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards throughout the building and construction sector (AS1851) is desirable.
  • Exposure to servicing commercial and industrial clients across diverse geographical locations.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to make well-founded decisions swiftly, even in demanding circumstances.
  • Steadfast dedication to maintaining high safety standards and driving continual improvement.
  • Certification in Australian Fire Safety Systems (AFSS) is desirable.
  • Previous experience within the fire industry is desirable.
